Goodbye 2018

Our final blog post for 2018; some thoughts from myself.

This year started off slowly. As 2017 came to an end, I was beginning to feel burnt out both photography-wise and creatively. I only managed to get the camera out once in January… This, combined, with a rather hectic time at my job led to far fewer posts than I would have liked. So, apologies for the radio silence during those weeks!

We welcomed in 2018 with a rather wet and muddy walk with our poodle pals, Colin and Daisy. We’ve missed them big time since their move to Suffolk.. and hope 2019 brings lots more quality poodle time.

Thankfully, as the weather picked up we managed to get out for more adventures and photo shoots, a few blogging and Instagram opportunities even came our way!

We represented Pit Pat at The Dogs of Instagram event in London.

In February we voyaged to North West Wales for a chilly, but breathtaking trip to Caernarfon and Angelsey.

We’re very keen to return, as we had a fantastic time. Here’s our blog post all about it!

Poodles have become a staple in my life. I don’t know what I’d do without our fluffy friends, and meet ups!

It’s been a privilege to share and review new and exiting canine products and give our honest thoughts, and recommendations. Thank you to everyone who visits our blog and Instagram. Your continued support is the reason we’re able to share the things we love.

I found new inspiration for my photography, thanks to using my phone camera, which I had totally been sleeping on! I took some cracking ones using my Samsung this year. Who needs a DSLR?!

As always we enjoyed the seasonal fauna, and made sure to pose accordingly!

Our daily walk is full of beautiful Bluebells.

2018 has been full of delightful trips to London, Wales, Suffolk and the South West, and a rather special trip to The Isles of Scilly. All in all we managed to pack in 30-40 beaches!

Cornwall once again, stole my heart. You can bet we’ll be escaping west whenever possible next year.

This year, Tilly made me so proud. This dog, who struggles with anxiety and fear around other dogs… has come on leaps and bounds! I attribute this to a full year of attending amazing dog-day-care, with the sweetest dogs, as well as regular meetings with familiar dogs (her adorable friends), and trying out new dietary supplements.

We do have our set-backs, but Tilly is so much more tolerant of other dogs than she used to be, and really proved herself at photo shoots and modelling jobs this year. Ever the professional! But the thing that warms my heart the most is seeing Tilly at ease with her little doggie friends.

Thank you to everyone who visiting the blog, and took the time to read my ramblings. Here’s to 2019, may it be full of long walks on the beach!

Wishing you a very Happy New Year,

Amy & Tilly

Happy new year Amy & Tilly. We’ve loved reading the blog and look forward to what you do in 2019. 30-40 beaches is definitely beach junky territory 😂 All the best! Darren & Ted 🐩❤️🐩
